Your mother may have told you not to eat with your hands, but with a wide
variety of succulent East Asian delicacies to choose from, you're sure to
throw caution to the wind and wrap your lettuce leaf and rice paper around
one of Tetes's many tempting Vietnamese and Thai dishes, like Cua Rang (sauteed
soft-shelled crab in Tamarind sauce) for Yen 2,000.
Master chef Mr. Takanashi will reward you with a series of tongue tickling
appetizer - his Goi Cuon spring rolls (Yen 800) with fresh shrimps, green
onions and a touch of mint, with his original sweet peanut and miso dipping
sauce, and his fiery Thai-style green papaya and chili sauce salad.
Or try the traditional, savory Pho (Yen 700) a hearty rice noodle soup.
There's a view of the city from both floors and the relaxing rhythms
of Vietnamese and Jazz music with soft dewdrop lights will make you forget
you're dining next to one of Tokyo's busiest crossings...oh, what your mother
would say if she could see you now.
Lunch specials available from Yen 1,000, 11:30am - 2:30pm.
